What if I would like you to do an hour-long walk/drop-in session?

If you’d like an hour-long walk or drop-in session, you can book two separate walk/drop-in sessions to accommodate the longer duration. This gives you the flexibility to choose the amount of time that works best for you and your pet. Please feel free to reach out to me for more details or to customize a plan that fits your needs!

2

If an hour-long walk/drop-in session is the same cost as the day care, which one should I choose?

Walk/drop-in sessions are much more personalized to meet your pet’s specific needs. If you're looking for more socialization time, longer walks, and extra playtime, I recommend the walk/drop-in sessions. These are ideal for more tailored care and attention.

On the other hand, the daycare option includes a 20-minute walk and focuses on a structured day of care but with less personalization compared to the walk/drop-in sessions. While the same level of attention is given, daycare may not provide the extra socialization or exercise time that a longer walk/drop-in session offers.

3

How far in advance should I book for overnights?

I recommend booking services as soon as possible, especially during busy times like holidays, school breaks, or weekends. You may book overnight pet/house sitting up to seven days in advance. However, I do accommodate last-minute requests if my schedule permits.

4

What happens if I need to cancel a service?

You can cancel or reschedule your service(s) up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled service, a cancelation fee of $25 may apply. But I get that life happens! I will be accommodating to the circumstances.

5

What should I do if my pet has special needs or health issues?

Please provide detailed instructions on any medical needs or behavioral issues before the service begins. This allows me to prepare for the best care possible. For pets with medical issues, I will need clear guidance on medications or treatment schedules. I am happy to accommodate special needs, but please communicate this upfront. I also have the right to refuse if I cannot provide the best care possible for your animal.

6

Do you take photos or videos of pets during your sessions?

Yes! I take photos or videos of your pet to keep you updated on how they're doing. These may be shared on my social media pages or with you directly. If you'd prefer I do not take or share photos of your pet, please let me know.

7

Why does it say my overnight session is one hour?

I schedule my overnight sessions to be one hour, so it keeps my calendar clear for walks/drop-ins and, on special occasions, day care for other clients. If I do an overnight sitting in your home, I will not be away for more than five hours daily. When booking, please book one overnight session per day.

8

What if I need to extend the length of the service or change the timing last minute?

I understand that plans can change! If you need to extend the service or adjust the timing, please reach out to me as soon as possible. If the new timing or extended duration conflicts with my availability, I’ll let you know and work with you to find an alternative solution.

9

Do you pet-sit cats?

I love cats! However, my pet sitting may be limited for cats due to allergies. I will accept cat-sitting clients based on personal preferences like regular house cleaning, whether the cats are allowed in the bedroom I'm staying in (for overnight sessions), and more. If you have a cat you need taken care of, please feel free to contact me, and we can discuss options.
